The Learning Resource Center (LRC) was chartered in September 1996, and since then, has been providing diagnostic and consultative services, both nationally and internationally, for children of all ages who have a broad range of learning difficulties, developmental disorders, and/or behavior problems.

A range of specialists provide services at the LRC including psychologists, behavior therapists, speech and language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, educational specialists, and consulting physicians.

We provide assessments, consultations, specialized therapies, and in-service training for schools and/or parents. We also provide support to families in accepting and dealing with their child’s difficulties.

APPLICANTS MUST

  • Ready to work at least 20 hours per week.
  • Be bright, energetic individuals with a strong desire to work with children.
  • Junior Staff applicants must hold a minimum of a BA in Special Education, Psychology, or related fields; and be physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared for a challenging career.
  • Senior Staff applicants must hold a minimum of a Masters Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related fields; and be physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared for a challenging career.
  • Provide positive academic references.

ALL OF OUR STAFF

  • Receive extensive training and learn to work with children to acquire skills and maximize independence in all developmental areas.
  • Are encouraged to seek further Professional Development.
  • Receive COMPETITIVE FEES.
